1944 Print Vista Caribbean Military Base Ancient Spanish Fortress Navy Ship AAF1 XAI7 designed by Henry FehrThis is an original 1944 World War II halftone print of "The Vista (Caribbean Base)." This image shows an American Destroyer passing the ancient Spanish fort. A native of Emporia, Kansas, Lieutenant Albert K. Murray, received his art education at the College of Fine Arts at Syracuse University in New York City, as well as the National Gallery in London, among other international art training institutes. In 1942, Murray joined the United States Navy
