Zilveren theeschepje en theezeefje, J. Haas, Amsterdam, 1810 slavenboei This hallmark was used betweenSilver tea scoop made by Jacob Haas from Amsterdam. Active from 1806 to 1827. Silver tea strainer probably by the same silversmith, but the hallmarks are worn. Jacob de Haas was a well known small scale maker of spoons and snuff boxes and was established on the Achterburgwal in Amsterdam. The silver tea spoon is marked with master mark Haas, city mark Amsterdam, 10 and date letter c for 1810. Both the tea scoop and the tea strainer have restoration
