Het grootste deel van de productie werd lokaal verkocht tot 1964, toen de ambitieuze en energieke Giacomo Fenocchio het landgoed overnam. In zijn zoektocht om de beste wijnen in heel Barolo te maken, kocht hij eersteklas percelen in Cannubi en het nabijgelegen Castellero, maar zijn focus lag altijd op wat hij graag het hart van het Barolo gebied noemde, Bussia.
